Bangladesh : 283/6 (50.0 Ovs), Bangladesh : 283/6 (50.0 Ovs)
Handshakes all around as India win this game quite comfortably riding on the stellar performances from two young men, Gambhir and Raina. Both of them have enjoyed some good form in the recent past and they made sure that they utilised it well to seal a comprehensive win for their side. Bangladesh would be a sad unit but they had only themselves to blame for, too many dropped chances and at this level, that is just so unpardonable.

One feels sorry for Alok Kapali who really played the knock of his life. He didn't put a foot wrong today and towards the end, single-handedly propelled Bangladesh to a more than competitive total. In the end, his century went down in a losing cause and the other centurion, Suresh Raina had his moment to smile and cherish.
..
The fielding standards were below par today. Both the sides were really sloppy in the field, dropping catches and misfielding far too often. Eventually, the dropped catches of the Bangladeshis proved too costly, dropping a man in form like Raina twice is just not acceptable. And that is why they say, Catches win matches...Suresh Raina would be a really happy man. After being out of the International arena for a long period, this man had enough character to prove his worth again. He is back and that too with a Bang! Hundred Number two for him and he alongwith his teammates would be hoping that this purple patch continues for as long as possible. Third Man of the Match award for him in a row. Truly, a special moment for him.
