A comprehensive win for the Indians then, they storm into the Finals of the Asia Cup and Pakistan are out of the race. Tomorrow's game becomes a dead rubber and the teams which you saw this evening will face off to grab the beautiful Asia Cup. Earlier this evening, the Indians did well to restrict the Lankans to just 308 who at one point in time looked like surpassing 320-330 even. The start was electrifying for the Indians with Sehwag and Gambhir setting the ground ablaze. Gambhir continued with his supreme touch and was provided with great support from Raina who seems to be doing nothing wrong these days. Dhoni played a responsible knock too and in the end, Yuvraj and Rohit ensured that there were no hiccups till the end. An all round batting display has sealed a win for the Indians here. They will now take a couple of days off after this hectic session of back to back matches.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the Man of the Match for his well paced half century which guided India home. He made sure that there is no middle order collapse by stitching a few good partnerships.
